We all want to live our best life. We all hope to leave a wonderful legacy to the people in our lives and the world around us.
But what is it that keeps us from living simply and abundantly? There never seems to be enough time to do the things we want to do.
Do you ever feel like you’re living in a constant state of overwhelm, just spinning your wheels and trying to keep your head above water? It’s always something, isn’t it? The money, the house, the responsibilities.

I’ve been there too!
But through it all, I’ve discovered some simple truths about living the abundant life that Christ came to give!
My mission at Abundant Life on a Budget is to help you to decrease your stress and live an abundant life as a busy mom.

My hope and prayer for you is that while you are actually in the trenches of life, raising your family, that your children will see you enjoying life more, and stressing less.
This will help you to have more joy, and it will make you a better wife, mother, and friend.
Even in the midst of our imperfections and struggles, God’s grace is able to touch every area of our lives, and we can live abundantly. Yes, His grace is sufficient for imperfect people like you and me!
I am a Christian wife to my husband of 33 years, mother of four precious children (ages 27, 24, 22, and 18), and mother-in-law to two wonderful daughters-in-law!
I am so excited to provide printables, inspiration, and resources for your success, as I share what I have learned during 27 years of raising our family, seeking the Lord, trying to keep a semi-clean home, feeding a hungry family, figuring out ways to save and budget our money, and homeschooling our children since 1999!
WHAT I BELIEVE
By God’s grace, I believe we are all here for just such a time as this, and that our days are numbered by the Lord. I believe that you, as wife and mother, have the privilege of the highest, most honorable calling in all of life. Such power and influence rest in your hands! You have a tremendous opportunity to leave an incredible legacy to your children, your children’s children, and the world around you.
You also have an opportunity when you breathe your last breath, to hear these words from Christ Himself, “Well done, good and faithful servant!”
It does not matter how inadequate you feel. I am here to remind you that we are all inadequate for the task. So if you are feeling imperfect, join the club and be encouraged! You are at the perfect starting point for God to do His good work through you.
My heart’s desire is to faithfully live to honor and glorify Christ in all of life, to love Him by obeying His Word, and to love my neighbor as myself. I fall so far short of these crucial things. My flesh often gets in the way, and I have enough failures to prove it!
But thanks be to God for His unspeakable gift of forgiveness through Jesus Christ! I am so thankful that the Lord has always used my failures as well as my successes to teach me and help me grow.
Learning, growing, and laughing are some of my favorite things.
